William (Bill) Ilva Margaret BarbaraWHITTAKERWHITTAKER William (Bill) Ilva, Margaret, Barbara and family wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind messages of sympathy, cards of condolence, flowers and donations to the Church of the Saviour and Silverdale Nursing Home, in Bill's memory and all who attended Bill's funeral. Thanks go to Mr Malik and staff of Silverdale Nursing Home for their care of Bill over the last eight years, sincere thanks to the Rev Stephen Pratt for conducting a lovely heartfelt service and for his visits to Bill and Ilva over the years, many thanks to Kathryn for the reading and to Wendy for playing the organ. Special thanks to John, James, Chris and Mark for being bearers, grandad would have been so proud and lots of thanks to Liz for 'Wednesday night' along with your stories and happy, funny memories. Finally we would like to thank Martyn, John, Lisa and staff at John Garside & Son for their sensitive handling of the funeral arrangements. Laughter and tears go hand in hand and we are all richer and wiser for our experiences. Rest in Peace Bill/Dad.
